RIVER TUMMEL Pitlochry to Ballinluig. The River Tummel contains many fine grayling of up to about 2.5 lb in weight.
Fly or specified bait (worm, maggot or sweet corn). There is a 12” minimum size limit for fish that can be retained, and no more than two fish may be retained in a day. Only leaders and lines of up to 2 kg breaking strain (4.4 lb) may be used.
From October 7, 2009 ticket prices will be £10 per day, £25 per week and OAP £5 per day, £15 per week.
From Pitlochry Tourist Information Centre, Quayles of Pitlochry and Ballinluig Service Station. Advance booking is not required, but visiting clubs are asked to obtain their tickets in advance from the Club Secretary (see Contact Points). Season tickets are only available from the Club secretary,for £75 per season and not from the ticket outlets listed above. |
